The England-born former flight attendant - who is expecting twins next month - is currently living in Chicago while Kelsey films his new show Boss.
But the 32-year-old has no friends there - and the situation is making her feel miserable, according to RadarOnline. Kayte and 57-year-old Kelsey - who married last February - recently renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas and also threw a baby shower last week.
An insider told the website: 'Kayte has absolutely no friends and no support network around her.
'[She] is alone most of the day while Kelsey is filming and at their recent baby shower for the twins all of the guests were Kelsey's fellow cast members and crew from the show.' The website reported that Kayte's British friends did not attend because they were all back in England.
And the insider added that it had been a rough pregnancy for her, saying: 'Kayte is hoping that once the babies are born she won't feel so alone.'
The couple now have a home in Malibu, after downsizing from Kelsey's $18m Bel Air mansion, which he used to live in with ex-wife Camille Grammer.
The former Frasier star recently had a tattoo of his fourth wife Kayte's name inked onto his hip - the first etching for the star.
